From the Mat to the Heart: A Yoga Journey for Endless Possibilities
Who am I?
Hello, dear people! I am Vesela Gaydardzhieva, or simply Ves. I live in Sofia – Bulgaria, wonderful country in Southeast Europe. With an open heart, I want to share how yoga has changed my life in incredible ways. If someone had asked me a while ago whether I would fall in love with yoga, I would have probably smiled enigmatically.

Always believed in the profound wisdom of yoga, but I never truly embraced it. Went through the motions, keeping it on an invisible list of things to do “later.” However, I realize we should never postpone such beneficial practices, as all we gain is lost time, and we can’t afford to waste it. Now, I can’t imagine a day without yoga.
As a single mother in a dynamic business environment, I pack my day with obligations and challenges, like many of us. Yet, amid the hustle and bustle, I carve out time for yoga. Even five minutes of yoga feels like a breath of fresh air in my busy life. These moments energize and empower me, helping me stay strong and resilient. It’s like a “perpetuum mobile”: when you give and receive, you practice and transform everything within into pure, powerful, positive energy.
Honestly, after my spinal surgery and titanium implants, I doubted whether yoga was for me. But I took the first step, and everything changed. I began with small steps, paying attention to my body, and I didn’t miss a single day. Every time I step on the mat, I become a better version of myself—and that feels incredible.
Now, just two months later, I realize that yoga is much more than a physical practice. It is daily wisdom that brings enormous possibilities beyond physical benefits. It helps me open my heart and embrace new opportunities with open arms and an open mind.
Why I started this blog?
My aim is to inspire more people to discover the magic of yoga. I will share my progress and discuss how I study different asanas and their benefits. I believe attending yoga classes is important for learning and inspiring each other, and I do this whenever I have the opportunity. However, yoga is also extremely accessible for daily practice at home.
I am a beginner in yoga, but I see progress every day, and this is only after two months of daily practice. This motivates me to keep going until I achieve a pure synergy between myself, yoga, and all the limitless possibilities that I discover because of it.
If you are also hesitating about whether to start, just take that first step! It doesn’t matter what stage you are at — yoga is for all of us. It can open doors to new opportunities and help you discover new aspects of yourself, just as it did for me.
Thank you for sharing with me the beginning of this journey, in which I will tell you how yoga can consciously and radically change the life of each one of us.
Stay inspired and open to the new opportunities that life offers us!
